Sunray Day Care Nursery Ltd uses the online communication tool Tapestry to share information with parents.

We use Tapestry to send daily information regarding your child and their day, such as what they have eaten/how much milk they have had, how long they have slept, nappy/toilet records as well as what they have done during the day. Tapestry is used to send photographs, record any accident forms and to show the progress that your child is making during their time at Sunray. These features compliment other forms of observing and assessing which are already in place. You will be able to access your child’s Learning Journey on the web browser via https://tapestryjournal.com which we would recommend as it has all the features of Tapestry.

Tapestry is a GDPR compliant company which uses secure servers in the UK to store data. Sunray Day Care Nursery Ltd has incorporated ‘Tapestry' into our GDPR, Data Retention and Safeguarding Policies to ensure it is utilised in a safe manner. The only people in the nursery with access to your child’s Learning Journey are the managers and the staff members in your child’s room- who will be responsible for managing your child’s profile.

I am a first time mum and enrolled our son into Sunray after we had an offer accepted on a house in the area. Sadly that fell through, but despite there being nurseries closer to where we live now, I wouldn’t dream of taking him out of Sunray.
